If you need to send the same message to more than one patient at a time, we now have the capability to broadcast a message to multiple patients. You can provide your patients with timely information, promotions, and updates about your practice to make sure they stay engaged and aware.
Choosing an Audience
You can customize the audience for your broadcast by selecting patients from your patient list, choosing the select all option to send a message to all of your patients, or you can use the filter to bring up a list of specific patients and select from there.
Click on create on the broadcast message banner.
Select the patients you’d like to receive your message. You can select all patients or use the search to find specific patients.
Filter your patient list by clicking on filter by, next to the name search box. You can choose to filter by treatment type, patient status, custom tags, etc.
Drafting Your Message
You can write freeform in the text box, choosing from saved replies, attach a file, or send a product recommendation.
Broadcast messages are not saved for editing. Clicking out of the text box while composing your message will exit broadcast mode and delete your draft.
Be sure to exit broadcast mode after your message is sent or the next message will be sent to the same selected audience.
Broadcast Display
Broadcast messages are displayed with a different background color and avatar. The patient will see the avatar of the clinic and their role (i.e., the practice name, not the name of the account owner).

Sending a broadcast message to your patients does not result in those patients being pushed to the top of the patient activity list.
