How to Invite a Patient

In this article:

Inviting Your Patients

  1. Navigate to your Doctor Portal by signing into the Provider Portal at https://providers.get-grin.com/
  2. Click on the Patients tab and then click the button that says Invite a patient.
  3. Fill out the patient info form, including their treatment type and first scan date, then click the button marked Invite.

Once you complete this form and issue the invite, the patient will receive an email inviting them to download the app and complete registration.

If the patient is under the age of 13, you will need to add a legal guardian. If you need help with this process, please refer to the Adding a Legal Guardian article.

What to Do if Your Patient Hasn’t Received Their Invitation

If your patient reaches out to you and advises they cannot locate or did not receive their invitation email, you are able to resend it via your Doctor Portal.

Patients will be notified when they are invited to the platform. If they haven't signed in, they'll be reminded 1 day after invitation and again 3 days after invitation.

Navigate to your Doctor Portal, find the patient’s name via the search box, and then click the three dots next to the patients’ name.

Clicking on the option marked resend invitation will allow you to verify the patients’ information and trigger the invitation email again.

Before resending the invitation, verify with the patient that the email address is spelled correctly and that it didn't get routed to their spam/junk folder.

Deleting an Invited Patient

You are able to delete a patient prior to their registration, as long as they still appear in invited status.

  1. Click the three dots next to the invited patient you would like to delete.
  2. Select delete patient to remove the invited patient. This will trigger a pop-up alert.
  3. Select yes if you wish to approve the action and delete the patient. Please remember, the delete action cannot be undone.

Please remember, this action cannot be undone!
